In Romania, Tractebel is present from 1997 and operated under the trade name of Trapec S.A until September 2009. From October 2009, it has been operating under the trade name TRACTEBEL Engineering S.A.

In Romania, Tractebel holds certificates, authorizations or certifications issued by various Romanian authorities, bodies or agencies, for various activities, such as:

•  engineering services in the electricity and natural gas fields, as well as for the elaboration of energy audits – authorizations issued by ANRE
•  design in the nuclear field – authorization issued by CNCAN
•  design and consultancy for the roads and bridges – authorization issued by APDP
•  design and consultancy in the railway infrastructure field – authorization issued by AFER
•  design in the land improvements field – authorization issued by ANIF
•  elaboration of environmental studies – certificate issued by the Ministry of the Environment
•  other certifications associated with our experts or specialists.

We provide services in consulting, design for all phases, in accordance with the applicable legislation, technical assistance on site and project management.
