Seven Schoenherr lawyers promoted in Romania and on the group level
Schoenherr si Asociatii SCA promotes five lawyers on a local level, with other two being promoted on the international Schoenherr group level. The announcement refers to Georgiana Badescu, Madalina Neagu, Iustin Armasu, Madalina Mitan, Mara Moga-Paler, Adriana Stanculescu and Carmen Stirbu.
Madalina Neagu and Georgiana Badescu, who were previously local partners in the Romanian office of Schoenherr were promoted to the position of contract partner in the international structure of Schoenherr group. With this new role, the two lawyers advance from the local to the international phase of the career path offered by Schoenherr to its lawyers.
On a local level, Schoenherr si Asociatii SCA promoted Iustin Armasu, Madalina Mitan, Mara Moga-Paler, Adriana Stanculescu and Carmen Stirbu to the position of managing attorney at law. These promotions are part of a complex set of measures taken by the firm with a view to further develop its practice groups in several key practice areas in the Romanian office.

About the two new contract partners at Schoenherr
Madalina Neagu is an experienced corporate/M&A lawyer. She has assisted on a considerable number of local and cross-border M&A transactions. Her activity covers a variety of industries, including financial services, FMCG, manufacturing, real estate, retail, IT&C, energy, construction materials etc. She has been a lawyer since 2000 and joined Schoenherr in 2008.
Georgiana Badescu has coordinated the EU & competition practice at Schoenherr si Asociatii SCA since 2017. She has extensive experience in advising on the full range of competition matters, and has coordinated a series of innovative projects in the Romanian market. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2005.
About the five new managing attorneys at law at Schoenherr Bucharest
Iustin Armasu has over eight years of experience in litigation, arbitration, insolvency and reorganisation. He has been a lawyer since 2011 and joined Schoenherr in 2015.
Madalina Mitan is an experienced real estate and constructions lawyer. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2008, when she also joined Schoenherr.
Mara Moga-Paler has been a lawyer since 2001. She is an experienced employment lawyer and has been head of employment at Schoenherr si Asociatii SCA since 2018, when she joined the firm.
Adriana Stanculescu is an experienced real estate and constructions lawyer. She joined Schoenherr in 2008 and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2009.
Carmen Stirbu was appointed managing attorney at law and head of public procurement at Schoenherr si Asociatii SCA. She has been a lawyer since 2001 and has extensive public procurement experience. She initially joined Schoenherr in 2009.
