Schouten Romania

Schouten & Nelissen is a pioneering company in the field of professional development. Founded in 1980 as a family business, the group today has global reach, with a team of over 700 specialist trainers and consultants and more than 5,000 clients across all major industries. Every year, the learning solutions offered by S&N through its 10 member companies reach more than half a million people across 60+ countries.

In 2019, S&N took over the Romanian training and consulting company Focus Plus, with 17 years of experience in the field, performing today on the regional Romanian and Eastern Europe market under the Schouten Romania brand name. Schouten Romania has thus become the fifth Schouten regional office in the world, serving its local clients with integrated, fully customized learning solutions, designed and delivered to the highest standards of quality. Schouten Romania offers 'blended learning' development programs which blend together the training sessions with evaluation, coaching, teambuilding and organizational consulting services.

Within the group, Relevance Learning is a leader on the European training and organizational development market. In 2023, Relevance won the Association for Talent Development (ATD) 'Best in Practice Award' for excellence in practice in the Leadership & Management Development category. The SUAS Training Institute, also founded within the group, was voted in 2023 as the number 1 training and education provider in the Netherlands. The distinction was received following a study conducted by the Business Innovation Center in Amsterdam. This is the third time that SUAS is honored with this distinction. S&N is also the owner of the e-Learning platform New Heroes, approved as a learning provider by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI), the most renowned accreditation authority in the learning sector.
