Atos Group to complete its transformation. Atos to be renamed Eviden
During the past year, Atos Group - a global leader in digital transformation, high-performance computing and information technology infrastructure, has undergone an ambitious transformation plan that included the separation of its business into two companies: Eviden, a leading player in the digital transformation, big data and cybersecurity markets, delivering high growth and high margins and Atos (Tech Foundations), a leader in managed infrastructure services, digital workplace and professional services.
On August 1st, 2023, Atos SE announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with EP Equity Investment ("EPEI") for the contemplated sale of 100% of its Tech Foundations business. Tech Foundation will continue using Atos brand and will become its sole owner. Atos SE would be renamed Eviden SE post transaction (“the Group”).
Locally, Atos IT Solutions and Services SRL became Eviden Technologies SRL starting with 25th of July, while the Tech Foundations business has been transferred into a new company. Eviden business in Romania has grown consistently in the past years, to over 1,200 high-level technology experts and consultants in 2023, delivering a rich portfolio of high-end technology services.
